My name is Laura Strain, I’m 31 years old and from wee Northern Ireland. I have always loved taking photographs and that love grew even more at the age of 21 when I purchased my first DSLR.

My first camera was a Canon 600d and most people thought I was crazy for spending that much money on a camera. To be honest I thought I was a little bit too when I got it out of the box and had no clue how to use it. That was the fun part though, learning how to use my camera and falling in love with photography! Fast forward 10 years, some online photography courses and years of studio experience learning from other photographers, I am living my dream.

Chase The Moment was thought up in 2019, and started off as predominantly landscape photography but over the past 5 years this has evolved into so much more. I have reached a few different milestones over the past few years including opening my own studio space, which I love, as well starting to photograph weddings. In 2024 the journey continues for Chase The Moment Photography and I am very excited to see where we go.
